AFCAT 2023 Detailed Eligibility:
For Flying Branch:
Minimum of 60% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level.Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent ORBE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
For Ground Duty (Technical):
Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics)/(Mechanical):Candidates with a minimum of 50% mark each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognized University OR cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India)
For Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
AdministrationPassed 10+2 and Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Education
Passed 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50% in any discipline including integrated courses offering PG (Single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry) and with 60% marks in Graduation in any discipline.
For NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch):Minimum 60% marks in each in Maths & Physics at 10 + 2 level.Graduate (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
(OR)BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent(OR)Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Final Year/semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they do not have any present backlogs at the time of AFSB Testing and produce Degree certificates issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.
NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate and validity of the certificate would be two years before the date of advertisement.
Age Limit :
For Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years
For Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years
AFCAT 2022 Selection Process: AFCAT written examination.
Stage-I – Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test
Stage-II – Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview would commence after document check for the next five days. Medical Examination
An All India Merit List is compiled on the basis of your performance in the written test and AFSB
