Comcast is hiring for the role of Data Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

Build data pipelines for optimal storage and retrieval to meet business requirements

Build reliable, scalable, CICD-driven streaming and batch data engineering pipelines

Assist in developing high-quality, high-performing, and secure data integration and ETL processes and conduct complex data analysis

Work closely with researchers, ML engineers, and application developers to gather requirements to prototype, develop, validate, and build systems for collecting, validating, and preparing high-quality data

Proactively anticipate problems and appropriately communicate with the team and management in a timely manner

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent professional experience

Have a good understanding of Python concepts

Good understanding of SQL & NoSQL concepts

Exposure to ML libraries, including Pandas, SciPy, NumPy, etc

Understanding of version control is preferred; GITBasic understanding of ETL concepts

Basic understanding of Spark
